How do you deal with Stingy Beggars?

How do you deal with Stingy Beggars? No, i am not speaking about homeless individuals. I had an item which a friend was welcome to use, but decided to use a trial product that was still in the box. I believe the trial was 30days, after that I would be billed. I was shocked to receive a bill. Not only that, the bill was going to be paid with a card I had on file with them. I confronted this individual and the reply was in the line of "... it was a better product than the opened item, that is why i have been using it..." WHAT? I am paying monthly for the first item and welcome you to use it. But you chose to unbox a NEW PRODUCT, understood the charges applied after the 30days trial was over. But you still continued to use it? I revoked all access to my things and gradually cut ties with the individual. One person even admitted during a casual conversation "...You know i'm stingy..." Stingy beggars, what goes through your mind when you act this way? Everyone else how do you deal with them?
