Everyone thinking they are an expert annoys me. I find it annoying to have to determine what a social media marketer is genuinely excellent at. Knowing someone's area of expertise might be preferable to "I'll get you more followers." Not everyone who understands hashtagging fundamentals qualifies as an expert. Someone is not automatically an expert on followers just because they purchased followers. It's a shady, overcrowded industry. I feel this way while not even being involved in social media marketing. How decent people feel in this industry sector is beyond my comprehension.
